One of the most fascinating things with my interactions with Michelle is how often our lives are reflected in the other’s

You’ve probably heard something similar in stories of gurus who seem to know exactly what the student needs to hear, or showing up at exactly the right moment. Quite frankly I used to think it all a bunch of BS, but I can’t count the number of times that this has happened with Michelle and I—that something will be going on in my life and I’ll find out later practically the same thing is happening in hers (or vice versa). Unfortunately, it is mostly brought up in private Google+ conversations that Michelle and I have, so they aren’t something I can link to, but Michelle left the following comment yesterday which serves as a good example (in reference to my deciding not to pursue the mobile artist colony just yet):

Funny, I was so close yesterday to starting the composting business I have wanted to do for years. Flipped a coin and it said no, and I knew why.

I knew nothing about her composting business idea, and she knew nothing about my decision to hold off on the artist colony.

This stuff happens all the time between us. Strange but true, but it is just one more example that there is a lot more going on behind the scenes than mere mortal minds can understand.
